AI Bathroom Cleaning Robot. Will it affect Malaysians?

It was a little too quiet but exhausting week. You must be wondering why the opposite? Well, my parents went on a holiday trip to China, and I was stuck with my youngest 5-year-old boy. My husband and oldest son were busy with their work and that only left me alone with my youngest who can be a little too clingy as there was no one else at home.

As expected, we could hear my parents' voices the moment they opened their car doors as they reached home. Sounds and feels like Chinese New Year, with my boy all excited and thrilled to finally see his favourite grandparents.

While busily unpacking and sharing their animated holiday experiences, 2 of their astonishing encounters really left me in awe. It was related to my New Year Resolution that I had posted on 03 November 2023. I had just planned to have a financial reserve for my boys in case of uncertainties. While listening to my parents' fascinating journey, it suddenly awakened me that I should speed up my plans.

Their first encounter was witnessing the cleanliness of their hotel and bathroom. Yeah. I know, nothing special about a clean hotel. They noticed that the hotel barely had any staff, so how did they manage to maintain the hotel in such a superb condition?

On their second day at the hotel, my mum decided to enquire at the front desk. To her astonishment, the receptionist responded by saying that they had been using AI robots to clean the bathrooms since last year. Well, I'm not interested in owning the robot. It struck me that China had been using the cleaning robot since last year. What does it mean? Cleaners are being redundant!!! More jobs lost!!! It is going to invade Malaysia in the near future without us realizing!!!

Back to reality, we really have to be financially prepared for so many uncertainties in our new future. By having a single source of income is definitely insufficient and too risky as the saying says, "never put your eggs in one basket"

After reading my thoughts this week, do take a minute to ponder on your 2024 Resolution. What is your priority? What is essential? How and what can I alter for a different future? If you are looking for a second source of income, please click here : https://apply.vktrend.com/krysttallim

Oh yeah, what's the second astounding encounter that my parents mentioned? Let's look forward to it till my next blog.

Blessings and best wishes,

Krysttal
