My maiden journey with my Home-Based Business Opportunity ( WFH )

Hi, Krysttal here. As you guys know, I'm well in my 40s, a new chapter is begining. Before MCO, I was a traditional entrepreneur who is managing a prominent foodcourt in Johor. During the weekday mornings, I'm working as a special needs tutor and on weekend mornings, I'm teaching English as a Second Language. From my 20 over years experience, I can be considered a successful entrepreneur & responsible nine to five.

When friends or family approached me, I was skeptical as I knew they would be promoting slimming or health products, savings plans, properties and many more. As my finance allows, I would usually entertain by purchasing some products without a slight interest of wanting to know more about the product or company. Just a one-off user. This was due to my parents' bad experience in Multi Level Marketing (MLM). I had the mindset that MLM products are overpriced compared to the quality they advertised and the other off-shelf brands that are easily available.

When MCO took away all my sources of income, I was shocked and unprepared. Approaching 40 with my youngest boy of 4, should I start a business from scratch or should I get a job?

Conventional Business

High risk (very competitive compared to 20 years ago)

High capital ( no income with mortgage and car loan)

Job

Fixed salary ( no matter how diligent )

Redundancy or early retirement ( already 40s)

Fixed time ( no flexibility )

Now, my boy is 4 and should be attending kindergarten like children similar to his age. I decided to delay another year to reduce his contact with too many people as he has yet to be vaccinated. Since I have made this decision, I need to home-school him in order to be able to follow his peers when the next school year commences.

I was lucky to come across an online education platform that includes all subjects and is in compliance to MOE syllabus. To my amazement, not only does it have Bahasa, English, Mandarin, it also includes maths, science and moral in the trilingual teaching method. This is perfect for me, as my boy will be studying in Sekolah Kebangsaan. The trilingual availability enables my boy to get familiarised with the subject from 4 years old.

After using the method with my boy, I realized that it really benefits students especially students who have been affected by MCO whereby students have been confined at home without being able to build their language foundation.

I started to learn more about the program and the business opportunity that it provided.

Programme

👉acquired 15 awards including 2 Malaysia Book of Records within 7 years of establishment.

👉recognized by MOE and is being used in schools and tuition centres as teaching material.

👉affordable.

👉includes all subjects.
