Image

But as we drove around Kuala Lumpur one evening, I realized his car was so quiet. It felt like gliding through the city! ...

What is ESBI Quadrant? What does it mean for me?

Image
Hey there! Let me share a moment from my life that might just resonate with you. 2 years ago, I was sitting at my kitchen table, absolutely frustrated and confused. Bills piled up, and all those financial goals seemed like they were slipping further away. I just knew there had to be a better way to understand money and work. That’s when I stumbled upon something intriguing called the ESBI quadrant. If you've ever wondered, "What is ESBI quadrant?" you're in the right place. Let’s dive in and uncover this concept together. So, what is ESBI quadrant? Essentially, it's a financial model created by Robert Kiyosaki, the author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad." This quadrant is a simple framework that categorizes income sources into four types:  Employee (E),  Self-Employed (S),  Business Owner (B), and  Investor (I).  It's designed to help folks like you and me figure out where we currently fit in and perhaps even guide us to where we want to go next. It's not ...

Are you a Frog or Lizard?

Image
Hey there! So, the other day, I found myself pondering a rather peculiar question: "Are you a frog or a lizard?" I don't mean literally, of course, but in the context of our work habits and job pursuits. It's an interesting way to think about our approach to finding income, wouldn't you agree? Picture this: are you like a frog who steadily waits in one spot for opportunities to come your way, or are you a lizard, always on the move, exploring and seeking out new prospects? Let's dive into what this might mean for your career or business aspirations. Imagine you're at the edge of a pond, witnessing a frog waiting patiently for its meal—a classic job holder, or "incumbent," if you will. The pros of being like this frog are pretty enticing. You get the stability of a regular paycheck, predictable work hours, and often, if you're lucky, benefits that cushion you and your family against life’s unpredictabilities. Plus, you're handed a structur...

Job or Home-based Business ( work from home) ?

Image
Hey there, fellow entrepreneur! If you're reading this, chances are you're considering stepping into the world of home-based businesses. Trust me, I know how exciting and nerve-wracking this can be. Let me share my experiences and how it might differ from the conventional businesses and nine to five grind. Like many people, I was stuck in the monotony of a regular job, working from nine to five every day (yes, 7 days a week) & managing my conventional food & beverage business at night (slogging 16 hours a day). While there was certainly a sense of security, I often felt trapped within my comfort zone, constantly dreaming about breaking free and achieving financial & time freedom. The fear of taking that leap, though, was a significant hurdle. The first step in starting my work from home venture was accepting that fear was natural, but it shouldn't be a dream crusher. With a small savings cushion and a lot of passion, I decided to pursue a business opportunity in...

My maiden journey with my Home-Based Business Opportunity ( WFH )

Image
Hi, Krysttal here. As you guys know, I'm well in my 40s, a new chapter is begining. Before MCO, I was a traditional entrepreneur who is managing a prominent foodcourt in Johor. During the weekday mornings, I'm working as a special needs tutor and on weekend mornings, I'm teaching English as a Second Language. From my 20 over years experience, I can be considered a successful entrepreneur & responsible nine to five.  When friends or family approached me, I was skeptical as I knew they would be promoting slimming or health products, savings plans, properties and many more. As my finance allows, I would usually entertain by purchasing some products without a slight interest of wanting to know more about the product or company. Just a one-off user. This was due to my parents' bad experience in Multi Level Marketing (MLM). I had the mindset that MLM products are overpriced compared to the quality they advertised and the other off-shelf brands that are easily available.  ...
